Stuff I’ve worked on

Testing the viability of an ETS product concept through iterative learning

In 2022, as part of one of ETS’s interdisciplinary innovation teams, I lead user research and testing of potential new products for early product validation. This particular project focused on exploring the higher education and workforce space, testing solutions for unmet needs in target populations through lean startup methodology, design research, and design thinking practices.

Improving taxonomy and encouraging functional usage of data catalog labels

As part of Alloy's product team, I led user testing of our client's internal data management system in order to improve search accuracy and data organization. Through user testing and card sorting exercises, we identified key gaps in the existing data catalog taxonomy and issues with label clarity and categorization. My team and I generated a set of data label refinement recommendations designed to improve relevancy, usability, and efficiency within the system.

Baselining J&J product performance to inform platform enhancement

In late 2023, our Experience Design team set out to enhance the platform experience of an internal J&J system that consolidates data from multiple sources for streamlined functions. I built a UX strategy outlining a research-driven approach to evaluating the user experience, which included executing assessments of the current state to inform product strategy through continuous learning and prioritizing backlog items with evidence-based design recommendations.
